\nThe\u202fCincinnati 300<\/em>\u202flist began with close to 1,000 executives across multiple industries in Greater Cincinnati. After months of research we edited the list by focusing (with very few exceptions) on just the top leader at each company and organization—or, in the case of businesses headquartered out of town, on the highest ranking Cincinnati-based leader. Criteria used in the editing process included the size and scope of each company and organization, special awards or accolades in the executives’ professional lives, and participation in community endeavors, such as positions on economic development and nonprofit boards. <\/p>\n
